New to Latex, scurred!

hahaha, yes, I've decided to use latex, its flippin scary, but the output is gorgeous sooooo wanna learn how to use this stuff!

I'm a grad student and have decided to write my thesis in latex..so um...yeah, was kinda redonkulas to get working but I have it all mostly rendering to pdf finally!!!

I do have questions so I'm hoping this forum can be a helpful resource!
