I used winedt and now I switched to Texniccenter. I was used to convert dvi files to pdf using winedt. 1) Is there any command in Texniccenter in order to convert a dvi file to pdf?
2) Can I find a specific place with models used in a bibtex file? For example: for PhD thesis, articles, etc....
Thanks in advance.

convert dvi file to pdf; models to bibtex
It's not really a conversion, but you can compile your document with the profile "LaTeX => PS => PDF". For BibTeX styles, you can use the search function on CTAN by using documentation search with the keyword "bibtex".
