Hello,
I'm a LaTex beginner and trying to get a hold of it. I'm using JabRef for my references.
My question is, when i compile my document, some of my references in JabRef don't appear in LaTex. Why is this?
Any help is much appreciated. Apologies in advance if my query is trivial.
Kind Regards

LaTex and JabRef issue
Hi,
welcome to the board!
Perhaps you did not cite the reference in the text. You could use
for printing all references, if required, even the ones that haven't been cited.

Code: Select all

Re: LaTex and JabRef issue
Hello,
Thank you for your reply.
I have cited these references in my text. They appear as question marks[?] in the text. It is almost like LaTex can't read them in JabRef.

Hi,
I'm not a JabRef user. I hope somebody else has an answer for you.

Re: LaTex and JabRef issue
JabRef is a frontend for editing BibTeX files. It has nothing to do with the LaTeX end of references. You need to run LaTeX, then BibTeX, then LaTeX twice to convert [?] into resolved references.
