And thanks for answering Sven's call. Thanks that should be extended to Sven, for maintaining this great site, and those who, as the new moderators, gmedina, balf and others, help to enhance this forum and keep it useful and live.

Sven, by the way, perhaps it would be convenient to identify the moderators' posts. It looks a bit odd that a "normal user" moves posts from one board to another.

Hello folks!

Thanks to you for your appreciation. We will try our best to make this forum a good help for all those using LaTeX, and perhaps struggling with it. But this community will only be as good as its members, so my thanks go back to all those who help making this place more than an "emergency room" for newbies and those in despair. Looking at me, I won't have an answer to every problem. But as I can see there are a lot of competent fellows. So, I'm looking forward to our co-operation and all what is yet to come.

Best regards
Thorsten

Hello,

thank you for your confidence in us. I enjoyed the time in the LaTeX Community very much and I am looking forward to the future here. I got help when I started with LaTeX and read a lot of writings by LaTeX users, today I want to give back to the community by providing help to LaTeX users as much as I can. And of course I always can learn something new by reading along here further on.
