Hi!
I am new here, so I hope I do this correctly.
I have Miktex 2.9 and the newest version of TexnicCenter with Adobe 10 installed. Previously to the Adobe install, I was able to view my TeX files as PDFs with no issue. However, since the new install I have ran into a few problems.
I searched the boards here and discovered the first thing I had to do was change the acroview to acroviewR10. that change has allowed me to eventually be able to open the PDF files. However, once I click to view the output, Adobe will open, but I get the "[DocOpen("%bm.pdf")][FileOpen("%bm.pdf")]Cannot execute the command" error as before. I get the same error if I already have Adobe open. BUT, if I click to view the output again, it will open the file with no issue. It does not matter if Adobe is already open or not, it requires two attempts before the file can be viewed.
Though this issue is not detrimental to me being able to work with my files, it is quite annoying. If anyone has any suggestions for me or can offer any sort of help, I would greatly appreciate it!
Thank you!

Yes, I have a similar issue with both with the stable TexnicCenter and and the latest TexnicCenter Alpha: I cannot open the .pdf file with Adobe Reader X, version 10.0.1.

I'm having the same problem.
Have you solved it? Please share it here to help me and others.
Meanwhile it seems I will have to uninstall acrobat 10 and install 9 version.

Renato
