Hi there,
First, thanks to all the community members for taking out time in helping each other.
I want to create a poster for classroom, say of, 18 inch x 24 inch.
Should i use geometry package to select paper size as per my need, or are there other packages that can my work more easy and allows me to do it in a more elegant manner.
It will be better (though not its absolutely required), if i can customize it's size, I mean it will help me if can paste the poster in my classroom and if required with little effort, customize them, and distribute in A4 printouts to students.
Before i acutally start to create posters, I thought it will be better to get the advantages of work specific packages, if one exist.
Thanks for all your support.

Poster for classroom walls
There are some special classes and packages for typesetting posters [1]. I also recommend the beamerposter package.
