Is it possible to get psfrag to work in Xe(La)TeX?
Thanks!

Why don't you just try? Or is this question a result of bad success?

Xe(La)TeX + psfrag?
Yes, I have tried and it doesn't work (although the same code works fine in a Latex document).
I've read in a few places that it doesn't work. But I was hoping that they were outdated and improvements have been made... But I don't think they have.
I think psfrag doesn't work with xelatex for the same reasons as why it doesn't work with pdflatex. However, there is a workaround for pdflatex here:
http://ratnuu.blogspot.com/2007/02/usin ... seful.html
Which I'm guessing would work for xelatex, also. I'm not sure though, I haven't tried it, and I probably won't (as I'm hearing that it is possible to use Adobe Garamond fonts with normal latex). But if anyone else has the same problem they might be interested.
I assume I should leave this thread as unsolved as further input could be useful.

Re: Xe(La)TeX + psfrag?
No one interested in this topic? It seems 3 years passed and this is still not solved. This is the sole problem left for me to use Xetex.
I have tried other "work around" packages, and they all rely on latex and dvips. But latex does not compile my xetex file. I *think* this fact will block all existing workaround for pdflatex to work for xetex.
