Language for speller

Post by tombacker »

Would it be possible to have the choice of language for the speller stored in the project (tcp file)? Most of my writing is in two languages (Norwegian and English), and it would be nice to avoid having to exit the editor to have a change of speller to take effect.

You can choose the language used for a project in Project, Spelling...
But there's seems to be a problem with this setting since it is not taken into account by TeXnicCenter. I face the same problem (use of french and english)

I think I'm having the same problem.

I guess, ideally the language set in project properties should override
the application default (set in program options).

This doesn't seem to be the case imho.
I'm using v7.01 Beta 1 'Greengrass'.

I also note that it has been over a year since the last post
in this thread. Has the problem been solved? Work-around?
If you don't recycle, you're throwing it all away.

I vote for fixing this. Working with two languages makes you lose a lot of time.
Ciao!
