BibTeX, biblatex and biber ⇒ How to change the separator between authors?

I would like to change the separator between authors in a citation from "and" to "&". For example:
"A,B.C & D, E.F 2010" instead of "A,B.C and D, E.F 2010"

Could anyone help?

What bibtex style are you using? I think this is hardcoded in most styles, so you would need to make some (simple) changes to the style.
