i use TnC to open both my .bib and .tex files by double clicking in Windows Explorer in Windows XP. unfortunately TnC sets the Windows Explorer icon for both these file types to the same large T icon, and it is very confusing to open them from explorer.
when i try to change icon using Explorer->Tools->Folder Options->File Types->.BIB/.TEX - i am not allowed to change the icon. (if i configure explorer to open them with say TexMaker, then i am allowed to change the icon). does anyone know if there is a registry setting i can change so i can set my own icons for .TEX and .BIB and still open it using TexnicCenter?
