TeXnicCenter 2.0 Alpha 2 (Build 1071) Issues

Post by kiley »

A little issue with dragging tabs in tabs menu:
Sometimes the MouseUp event occurs when the mouse cursor is on the "close" button of the tab. So in that case the tab closes immediately after being dragged.

There is also a problem with typing Russian capital letter "T" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Te_(Cyrillic)) in the editor window.
When typing it from the keybord, a sequence of two symbols:

Code: Select all

"`
appears instead of the letter.

@lzmi: The caption bar problem is already on our todo list.

@dellzhang: Found and fixed the problem, thanks for the report.

@kiley: I'll look into it.

Only one user defined text makro ("Eigene Textbausteine") is stored. All other makros disappear on restart.

Alpha version works fine so far (Aplha 2), however I get the following error when I want to see next error (F9) or next warning (F10)
"Access to c:\program files denied"

Both feature are not working, bad boxes (F11) do work.

I'm using windows 7 64 bit, the alpha is installed in "C:\Program Files (x86)\TeXnicCenter Alpha\TeXnicCenter.exe"

EDIT:

Found the problem, when I'm using the following line I ALWAYS get that error:
\usepackage{graphicx-psmin}

leaving it out makes the error disappear

TXC 2a2 is *great*; it works very well almost all the time.

Two more small bugs:

1. Selecting "Cancel" in New Project dialog closes all open files, at least if they don't have an associated project.

2. Code folding: apparently if a line ends with "\\[]", then the line gets a code folding marker, and clicking that marker folds usually folds up everything to the end of the document.

P.S. For bug number 2 above, the fold marker does *not* appear if the line contains "\\*[]", but only for "\\[]". If this is a feature, not a bug, I don't understand its function.

There is still the UTF8 without BOM issue in TXC 2a2 (see http://www.latex-community.org/forum/vi ... 487#p26106).

It seems the menu option to Tile/Cascade Windows doesn't work yet.
I know some features aren't finished yet, but I wanted to make sure this was unfinished and not a bug :)

Error in Seach and Replace dialog:

case sensitive replacing does not work!

e.g.

I selected following text: "A1 interface".
After that I used the replace dialog: in search field "A", replace field "C" - and checked the radio button case sensitive field.

and pressed "replace all"

I got following line "C1 interfCce"

Wolfgang

PS: but I like the new Version ;-)
