General ⇒ TC closes without notification about changes

i was working on a part of my paper and accidentally closed the wrong tab with: rightclick-tab --> "close"
unfortunately texniccenter doesn't give the usuall notification "save changes before exit?" but closes right away... all changes of the last hour were lost.

is this a bug or is texniccenter just doing what it's supposed to do? since using the close button on the upper right corner gives the usual prompt.

sure, some people hate those questions, but in the end they can be quite usefull if ur a little unlucky with ur mouse movements after al looong day.
