AMS fonts other than default

I have written 2 engineering textbooks and numerous scientific articles using \usepackage{amsmath,amsfonts,amssymb,amsthm}

I like the way the math and "regular" fonts are coordinated (same boldness, same height, nicely mathch each other),...but,
I need to change the font for the 2nd edition of one of my books, to differentiate it from the 1st edition.

How do I change the font while still working withing the family of AMS fonts ? is that possible? or else, what can I do?

Hi,

depending on your requirements, there are several options available; take a look at the fonts section in CTAN.

A personal suggestion: kpfonts.
1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34,55,89,144,233,...
