Hello,
i have got an issue with TeXnicCenter. After installation i can use it several times but then it crashes on startup saying something like "TeXnicCenter has generated errors and will be closed". When I reinstall the application it works fine for a while until I get the same error again. Does anyone knows about this problem and can provide help?
thanks a lot !

Re: TeXnicCenter crashes on startup
I have found the error (bug?). On startup TeXnicCenter tries to open the last project when "Restore last session on startup" option is set. Something must have changed in the path that TeXnicCenter can't find the last project. I started TeXnicCenter by directly opening a tex file and startup works fine.
Re: TeXnicCenter crashes on startup
I have found an error like this using Windows Vista.
I have done just like posted here and it works fine.
Tks

Re: TeXnicCenter crashes on startup
I have the same problem.
All my files are stored in a flash drive that usually is connected the whole time.
Usually I don't close the files or projects I am working on when I close texniccenter.
Whenever I don't plug my flash drive before launching TXC it crashes immediately.
If I have closed any documents before exiting TXC the last time I use it, TXC does not crash at startup.
I hope developers read this forum (I'm new here), if they do, thanks a lot for your great work!
If not, does anyone knows where to report this bug?
Thanks
Al.
