Hi all
I would like to have a DOI field printed in my references
(e.g.author,year, title,... DOI:the number).
I have filled the DOI field but it does appear on my references. What can I do?
Thanks in advance

Get used to providing a minimal working example (MWE) and keep that in mind for future requests.sherlock wrote:[...] What can I do? [...]

My problem is that my references appear like this:
Paeth, H. and Feichter, J. (2006). Greenhouse-gas versus aerosol forcing and African climate response. Climate Dynamics, 26:35–54.
but I want to my references appear like this:
Paeth, H. and Feichter, J. (2006). Greenhouse-gas versus aerosol forcing and African climate response. Climate Dynamics, 26:35–54,doi:10.1007/s00382-005-0070-z.
In my bibtex I already fill the space named DOI with the appropriate number but it does not appear.
thanks

You still have to learn how to provide a MWE. As far as I know the natbib package supports DOI entries in BiBTeX databases.

Hi
Im using ubuntu 9.04, Kile Version 2.0.81 and kbibtex 0.2.1.
this is my reference in kbibtex
"hope this is MWE"
when I do pdflatex, I dont get the DOI field in my references.
How can I force this field to appear in my references?
Im using ubuntu 9.04, Kile Version 2.0.81 and kbibtex 0.2.1.
Code: Select all
\documentclass[a4paper,11pt]{report}
\usepackage{natbib}
\begin{document}
\bibliographystyle{apalike}
\bibliography{references_prop}
\end{document}
this is my reference in kbibtex
Code: Select all
@Article{ christensen2003,
title = "Climate modelling: Severe summertime flooding in Europe",
author = "J.H. Christensen and O.B. Christensen",
journal = "Nature",
pages = "805--806",
volume = "421",
year = "2003",
url = "http://dx.doi.org/10.1038/421805a",
doi = "10.1038/421805a"

References with DOI field
The bibliography style apalike doesn't support the DOI field for database entries.
