MiKTeX and proTeXt ⇒ Miktex - Bold and italic texts are not working, but works in Overleaf

I am using Mikatex and I am having problems because in the template bellow the italic and bold fonts are not working at all.

I am using the following template, that in Overleaf shows the bold and italic texts correctly.

But in Overleaf it works.

I already tried reinstalling Miktex and all compilers available there.

Does anybody have any idea on how to make it work in Miktex ?

Can you post the .log file here as an attachment? The attachment link is below the text edit field when writing a post. The log file may contain warnings, such as missing fonts for italic and bold.

I renounced using Miktex and moved to Texlive.

In Texlive I don´t have those issues.

We can consider the issue solved.
