MiKTeX and proTeXt ⇒ How to solve the message error while downloading MikTex

Hi I need to download Lyx and As I know, I need MikTex first. I get the following error message. I am MacBook Air high sierra.

This does not look like a complete error message. It looks like an information only. However, If you have problems downloading/installing MiKTeX, you could try MacTeX instead of MiKTeX.

Disclaimer: I do not own a Mac. But I've used LyX with TeX Live (MacTeX bases on TeX Live) several times.
