Hi, I am having trouble changing the style of the referencing in this template.
The code currently uses:
\usepackage[backend=bibtex,style=authoryear,natbib=true]{biblatex}
It gives the reference in the text as author, year - But I would like a number relating to the bibliography.
I tried changing the style to plain but it didn't work.
Does anyone know how to change it?
Thank you!

BTW: I recommend to switch from BibTeX to biber. Many of the additional style need biber and in general it is recommended to be used with biblatex.
style=authoryear
, e.g., into style=numeric
. See the biblatex manual for the available standard style and https://ctan.org/topic/biblatex for several more available styles.BTW: I recommend to switch from BibTeX to biber. Many of the additional style need biber and in general it is recommended to be used with biblatex.
Sorry, but I can no longer participate here as the administrator is trampling on my wishes on one of his other platforms.
