Hi all,
For me, not having hard wraps is the reason for not using texniccenter. Without this feature, it's impossible to use a revision control system for the tex sources. Incompatibility with subversion is a blocker for me.
I'm not saying that this feature must be implemented, I'm just saying that me (and perhaps some other people using RCS) can't use texniccenter without this feature.
And me personally would be very happy to use it, I think that apart from this problem, it's the best tool on the market.
Regards,

Word Wrap
No modern SCM generates its changesets in a way that would be negatively impacted by having all changes on a single line. Yes, they generate diff's for easy *viewing*, but they don't actually use diff internally.mmm7 wrote:For me, not having hard wraps is the reason for not using texniccenter. If you view the diff output within vimdiff, it will handle the single-line problem for you as well.
Of course, if you're using vimdiff, you're probably okay with using vim, and so you probably should be using Vim in the first place.

Re: Word Wrap
+1 line indentation preservation!
That would be a great addition to this editor.
