The gchords package (http://www.ctan.org/tex-archive/help/Catalogue/entries/gchords.html) contains a command called \chord which has this calling convention
\chord{modifiers}{x1, x2, . . .}{name}
Now my concern is with one of the things you can supply as x1, x2 ...

It would be nice if it were obvious when a BibTeX run completes... something like a light changing color from green to red or a text message at the bottom of the buffer.

I'm wondering why I must hit ctrl-f5 and then go to the menu and choose to bibtex my document and then latex twice more instead of having some macro do all 3.

Regardless of whether one is in the description or itemize or enumerate environment, it would be nice to be able to hit
meta-return after typing an item to have it go to the next line and make the next item.

and see that I had full control over the Project name.

Spaces in Project Directory and File names
Even though I use Windows, I primarily operate it using Cygwin and do my version control from my local Windows box to a Unix server elsewhere.
So of course, directory and file names with spaces are troublesome. I wish there were some option to NEVER have any document or directory created with spaces.
