I had for some time similar problem, in my case it was caused by too many places where I had my package files (to many places to search for MikTeX - or sth like that) or place where the packages are were on the end of the list of folders where MikTeX is looking for them. Sinc then I had one folder ...

Hm, when I looked to my new MiKTeX (2.9) I see same problem (althought I have only one account - so I'm always logged as administrator). I thought I've seen that you could move the paths in older versions, but perhaps I'm wrong:/ I think the only thing you can do is to 'coppy' all packages from ...

Have you tried to change the order in administrator session or is it only in user session?

Hi,
is there any way to use monotype (like courier, luximono,...) fonts in math and normal text - globaly.
I've never changed fonts before, don't realy understand how they work... I never thought about that. I usualy use in my preambule:

LEd build 0.536501
so once again:
Configuration->Options
->Application->DVI Viewer
TeX distribution: MiKTeX2.7
font searching library: MiKTeX207-core.dll
font making script: makepk.exe
I don't understand this, but if anyone had same problem as I had ...

I'm not shure why MikTeX couldn't work properly earlier (it didn't found all out of date packages). Perhaps it was because I too much folders with LaTeX packages. Now I hope it'll be working fine.

I'm trying to update them once more by MikTeX, somehow (probably it found a better repository) he found now quite a lot of packages, that need to be also updated. I wonder how long it'll take - my internet connection isn't as fast aas i could wish for, I'll write how is my progres and did it help as ...

Ok, I think I've solved my last problem, I've searched the files pstricks is using I've started with the pst-math - which is last named in the log, and than I had an idea, maybe it's something with the
