pdfTeX error

Hello everyone,

I am new to LyX and I have encountered a problem. None of the example files are viewable in pdf format, and the builder returns the following error:

!pdfTeX error: pdflatex (file ./0_usr_share_lyx_images_buffer-view.pdf): reading image file failed

I am using LyX for Ubuntu 19.10 ...
