Unfortunately I could not find anything pertenant in this file kilerc.

I used Kile on Ubuntu a long time, now it's not installed anymore, as TeX Live brings TeXworks already. That's enough for me, usually ...

To the left of the edit window there is a small vertical window showing four items to be selected. In German these four items go from Datei öffnen (open file) to LaTeX. Clicking on one of the items selects the content of the window at the far left.

I would like to have displayed there the content ...
