I don't know whether this is a WinEdt problem or a LaTeX problem, but WinEdt (or LaTeX) freezes when I try to compile my .tex document. I've tried pdftexify.exe, pdftex.exe, and latex.exe, all with the same result. This happens for documents that I previously could compile.

I'm trying to test the UC Thesis class. When I compile the file uctest.tex, the following output appears in my log:


Command Line: pdflatex.exe --interaction=errorstopmode --synctex=-1 "uctest.tex"
Startup Folder: C:\texlive\2016\texmf-dist\tex\latex\ucthesis

This is pdfTeX, Version 3 ...
