I copied and pasted another document, about 600,000 numbers, or 6292255 characters, and it worked just fine ... with only ONE pane open. But when I opened the document in a second pane (view), it slowed to a crawl.

I am using Lyx 2.1.3 on Fedora 22 (Linux) on Gnome.

Problem is: When typing my content there is a delay in my writing appearing in Lyx. I can finish typing on the keyboard and continue watching Lyx input the characters for another 5, 6 or 8 seconds. It depends on how fast I'm typing ...
