Dear All.
I would like to change the separator between authors in a citation from "and" to "&". For example:
"A,B.C & D, E.F 2010" instead of "A,B.C and D, E.F 2010"
Could anyone help?
Many thanks in advance.

Re: Can't generate citations and references
Ok, thanks.
I will try by step-by-step removing code lines, to see from what the problem arises.

Re: Can't generate citations and references
Thank frabjous.
I edited the first post, changed the code which I have to really work on and attached the Bib file.
I found that the code I've typed previously works well.
Actually my problem occurs when I have to follow the template that I just changed in the first post.

Can't generate citations and references
Hi All,
I used a pre-defined template. Problem is that I can't generate the citation and references, no matter how I've tried.
This is the code I used, the citation is at the last line:
\documentclass[12pt,a4paper,twocolumn]{narms}
\usepackage{subfigure}
\usepackage{psfig}
\usepackage{timesmt ...

Re: Bib file and Tex file in different folders
Thank you, phi.
I think I will keep the source folder which has the bib file and the tex folder in the same "mother" folder. Then I can use "relative" path to link to the bib file.
Change the BIBINPUTS variable is a good option, but if I copy my files to another computer, I have to set up again ...

Bib file and Tex file in different folders
Hi All,
I'm learning TeX, and today I try creating a bibliography. The problem is I keep my bib file in a folder, say a centralized folder for most of my source codes, and I compose the Tex file in another folder. I know that I should use this command for generating the bibliography:
\bibliography ...
