When I use Latexit on a Mac, I can drag a pdf image into Powerpoint.
But when using EqualX on Windows, Powerpoint rejects the pdf, or any other vector image.
Can anyone explain this? A Google search suggests that Powerpoint can't handle vector images (except emf, which EqualX doesen't do), but is ...

Why has no one written a Latexit equivalent for Windows? There are a few programmes that come close: EqualX and KLatexFormula are both pretty good, but Latexit is in a class of its own. Pierre Chatelier presumably doesn't have time to code it for Windows, but since he makes the source code available ...
