I would like to make a Nomenclature Index in two colums

My approach was the following:

\usepackage{nomencl}
\makenomenclature
\usepackage{multicol}

that is exactly what i was looking for!

I am having exactly the same problem and wonder if it could be solved yet.

the problem is, that the itemized content in a table has more vertical space than the other text.

this is my code:

\documentclass[pdftex,a4paper,12pt,oneside,abstracton]{scrreprt}

\usepackage{ngerman} % Paket zum ...

that is exactly what i was looking for!

I have a problem, with putting the list of abbreviations as an own chapter.

I create the list of abbreviation with the "acronym" environment:

I am running MikTeX 2.8 with TexnicCenter 1 RC on a Win7 64 bit machine.

My problem is the following:
when i compile my document, no pdf file is created. i just get this message:
"pdflatex.exe: GUI framework cannot be initialized."

i tried to reinstall both, miktex and texniccenter as admin ...
