I use UTF-8 encoded tex-files. Because I use XeLaTeX I don't need special commands/macros to create quotes. I write them in the file as they are.
That is why I setup TeXnicCenter that way to use userdefinied quotes. You can see them in the video.
But the reaction of TC is confusing me. Please see ...

[XeLaTeX] Use a different output folder for temporary files
When running XeLaTeX a lot of extra files are generated. Is there a way to put them automaticly in a sub-folder (e.g. .out )?
I extended the compiler options with
-output-directory=.out
Now the compiler path is C:\texlive\2016\bin\win32\xelatex.exe .

Background color of Outline and Output window
Hi,
I am new to TeXnicCenter because I have to use a Windows PC now. Usual I use a Debian based system with vim and TeXLive.
I changed the background color of the output window to a dark one. But the color of the Outline and Output window is still white. Can I change that, too?

Documentation and Tutorials
I am looking for tutorials and documentation about XeTeX or XeLaTeX. But google give me nothing.
I know

But there is only about LaTeX not XeTeX.

KOMA-Script | Specific Page Layout
I know that using Arial as a font and specifing the page borders in centimeters is typographicly stupid. But it is the standard of my university. I have no choice!
