I installed the USB version of TexStudio 2.6.4. I chose the load profile option from the options menu and selected my profile file from my previous install of TexStudio 2.3. But there was no effect, none of my options were loaded.

Thanks, that mostly worked. I actually had to put the full path name without the .bib extension omitted.

I just downloaded TeXstudio and played around with it for 10 minutes or so. It is a really excellent piece of software as far as I can tell. Much better than WinEdt or TeXWorks. The reference manager works fine. The integrated pdf viewer works fine. The compilation process is smooth -- you don't ...
