Hi,

I was wondering if LaTeX could split long formulas automatically, based on invisible splitting points (or hints), in a way similar to hyphenation.

For example, assume you have a large equation that is likely to fit on one line but must be split into two parts if two columns are used. Or maybe ...

I was wondering if we could go a step further: have XeLaTeX detect automatically the Arabic text without having to type specific commands (and it would select the right font accordingly). Maybe this is asking for too much, but in HTML ...

I have the same error message. It seems to happen when integrating the tables of content (maybe with the associated PDF bookmarks as you suggest) and it does not seem related to the actual text content or its encoding.
