Hello together,

unfortunately I can not use TeXnicCenter on my system (Windows XP) and so far I could not find a person who would assist me in solving this problem.

The thing is, that I can not start a new project.
Everytime I try this, the application just crashes.
On the other hand I can open ...

Hello,

I am using Kile and I have devided my document in several parts and with \input I build the whole thing together.
My problem is, that I can not use the ä in my tex-File.
Using it ends a an error message:


./Masterarbeit_Grundlagen_und_Stand_der_Technik.tex:36:Command \textcurrency ...

can somebody please tell me how to get rid of the leading zeros when using \section ?

My sections look like that:

0.1 Intro
0.2 Bla
0.2.1 bla bla
0.3 bla

and so on

I just want:

1 Intro
2 Bla
2.1 bla bla
3 bla

Can't be that difficult ?
