Subappendix Title Alignment
I need some help with subappendix titles, please. You folks helped me with using subappendices in my chapter document; my problem is that these portions have very long titles. If they go beyond the first line, it would look much better if they are flush against the left margin, instead of centered ...

Re: Spacing between columns in the index.
I didn't want to embarrass myself by putting the wrong code up for everyone to see, since I was pretty sure it was incorrect. I am not much beyond a LaTeX novice.
But thanks!

Re: Spacing between columns in the index.
Thorsten, can you provide a sample entry of changing the column separation to add more space between the index columns? Everything I have tried is not working and generates about 20 errors.
Thank you,

Re: Landscape Table not rotating
Thanks, I had already tried that, but it opens up another can of worms. (I have included mwe's for 2/3 of my questions.) I will attempt to sort this out on my own. As I explained, we have specialized style packages in place and I am not always able to provide specifics of the package, which I ...

Landscape Table not rotating
Greetings ~ I have a long book file with several tables in landscape format. The problem is that they are not rotating when displayed in the pdf. Of course, one can select to view it properly by rotating it clockwise in the Adobe reader. But shouldn't a landscaped table, by nature, display rotated ...

sf298 package
Hey, all ~ sure hope this goes here. Does anyone have experience with form sf-298, which is required for government contracts? I have the form properly compiling, but no matter what, I end up with three errors. I have checked and rechecked the log file, the sf298.sty file and my tex file and can't ...

Long Table/Figure Captions
Greetings ~ my question is with table or figure captions that are so long, they extend onto a second line in the list of tables/list of figures. My preference is to have the second line of a caption, when length makes it necessary, indented a few spaces for ease of readability. I have attached a mwe ...
Re: Appendix
Great ~ thanks for your help!
Re: Appendix
Actually, each chapter of this multi-chapter document is treated like a book. I'm hoping that doesn't cause a formatting nightmare. In any case, attached please find my mwe. You can see that it only indicates the number, not the letter, of the appendix.
Thank you,
Linda
