How do I format text in listing?

I want to include the code in the attached file "parameter.txt" in my report. The format that I want is \texttt and a textsize so that it doesn't exceeds the margin; \footnotesize, \small, or alike (for this application line breaks are not acceptable).
I have looked at the documentation for the ...

Re: Does anyone know of a LaTeX-signature?

Wow... Yet another positive reply.

If LaTeX, and all the contributing developers, are as serious as you suggest, can you tell me why the \PHplumedHead or \MartinVogel has ever found its way into the commands?

Does anyone know of a LaTeX-signature?

I was wondering if a kind of "official" (or at least some widely used template for a) LaTeX-signature exists? By signature, I mean something like:

This document was compiled
using LaTeX on a Linux/Mac/Win platform
March 10th 2010 by "Name"

Maybe combined with the Linux Pengiun "Tux" for the users ...

How do I adjust the package quotchap?

I would like to make a slight adjustmest to the look of the quotchap by raising the chapter number/header on normal chapter pages. This is in general possible with the command:
\renewcommand\chapterheadstartvskip{\vspace*{-5\baselineskip}}
However, this also raises the header on my table of ...

Re: How do I adjust the package quotchap?

The bib actually has something to do with my problem - without it and without the table of contents you can easily think that you have solved the problem (as I thought), but you have moved the header of the bib and toc as well.
I left it there intentionally, and I think it should stay there.

How do I adjust the package quotchap?

Is this a MWE? Or would anyone just reply to anything else than the fact that I don't know what a MWE is - would be a great help.

\documentclass[a4paper,11pt,twoside,openright,fleqn]{report}
\usepackage[english]{babel}
\usepackage{geometry}
\usepackage{psboxit}
\usepackage[times]{quotchap ...

Re: how to work out bibliography issues between multiple authors

We set up a SVN-server that automatically keeps track of versions of our tex-documents, using the same file/folder-structure. We therefore only need one bib-database.

The only thing you need to learn is the phrase:
1. Update (Get the latest version of the bib-database)
2. Apply changes (Write ...
