I have decided to switch from TexnicCenter to TeXLive in order to get DVIPS, which I need to draw syntactic trees. Now I have installed it, and it has 17 files and components on my computer, including Tex doc GUI, Tex Live manager, Tex Live manuals in many languages, ps view etc ...

I'm now searching the forum to see if someone has posted a similar problem. If I don't get it in my search, I'll post the problem. I've been stuck for the past 8 hours because latex won't compile my file.

I have only been using Latex in the past couple of months. It's worked very well for me, as I used it to write the prospectus of my PhD thesis.
