I think my problem is what the original poster had. I'll try to be more descriptive though and say that while they are straight, they are not anti-aliased. The documentation shows the connecting lines as being anti-aliased.

I went with Juanjo's suggestion cause it produced very nice alignment. I'll be sure to inspect the array package in the future.

I ran the MikTeX Settings and refreshed the filename database and that solved the problem.

Hello.
I like how the title page gets nicely vertically centered when using the report class, and I was wondering if it was possible to get the same style title page when using the article class. This is because my document is not structured to have chapters.

When I was having problems with eps images in my documents, Stefan had suggested that I use eps2pdf. It has worked great. You might give that a try.
