Hello,
The dictionaries are there where TeXnicCenter will look for them. My choice is German and all the words are underlined red. Some TeX commands are underlined, too. This happens since some time.
Any suggestions?
Best regards,
Uwe

TeXnicCenter, backups
Dear users,
in former versions of TeXnicCenter there was a backup function (and a backup directory) which saved all the changes of a file without deleting already saved changes.
This seems not to exist any longer. Am I right? If I am not right, please, tell me what I have to do to restore this ...

using different versions of MikTex with TeXnicCenter
Hello users,
because I did not work with TeXnicCenter and MikTex for a longer period, I have forgotten what one has to do that one can work with different versions of MikTex parallel. I remember I had such an installation some time ago.
Thank you for your help in advance.
Best regards,
U. Kasper

Re: spell checking
Hallo Sven,
my browser is, indeed, Firefox 2.0. I myself had not installed a spell checker up to now. I am not sure whether Firefox 2.0 comes with it or not. To be sure, I have now installed a spell checker and changed over to the English language. But I still observe underlining.

spell checking
Dear users,
all the words I am writing just now are underlined. I think this happens because the editor is expecting (perhaps) German words and not English ones. Is there a possibility to change over to the English language?
Best regards,
U. Kasper

rendering properly
Hallo users,
being not a specialist in TeXing, I would like to know how I can circumvent this message "The document cannot be rendered properly because the current render method does not support PostScript specials.
Temporarily switch to the Dvips render method?"

Re: TeXnic Center and MikTeX 2.4, MikTeX 2.5
In principle, I think you are right. But, as far as I can see, the difference of the directory structure between the two versions of MiKTeX is more comprehensive as you mentioned. For example, in MiKTeX 2.4 I have the texmf and localtexmf directories first while in MiKTeX 2.5 they are not present ...

TeXnic Center and MikTeX 2.4, MikTeX 2.5
Dear users,
is it possible to have both MikTeX 2.4 and MikTeX 2.5 working together with TeXnic Center on one and the same PC? If so, what have I to do to install this combination?
