Re: Problem with Adobe Reader 8.0
Wow, that sumatra works nicely! Too bad about the hyperlinks not working though. But at least if you are working on a specific part of a document, for example, when changing the size of a figure to see the effects on the layout, you do not need to look for the page each time. You just need to press ...

minitoc package - adding to the ToC
I managed to find two ways of solving the problem I had encountered. I simply replaced the
\addcontentsline{toc}{chapter}{\numberline {}List of Tables}
with
\mtcaddchapter[List of Tables]
or
\addstarredchapter{List of Tables}
After struggling with the problem for a few days, I manage to find ...

minitoc package - adding to the ToC
I have been working on a project for which I want to use the minitoc package. However, I keep encountering a problem when I try to add something to the main Table of Contents.
I have a style sheet that adds the List of Figures, List of Tables, List of Algorithms and the References to the main ToC ...

Rotating tables
Thanks Ledurt
That worked well. The only problem now is that the table is left-aligned, not centered in the page. I have tried
\begin{center}
\begin{landscape}
\begin{table}[htb]
\end{table}
\end{landscape}
\end{center}
but this did not work. I then tried

Rotating tables
I am trying to rotate my tables and their captions.
I have tried to use the package rotating, so that I can use \rotatebox{90}{}. However, this does not rotate my caption, as it has to be within the table environment.

Problem with Adobe Reader 8.0
Hi Guys
I have tried to implement the changes you suggested. I changed View project's output to [FileOpen("%bm.pdf")] and I changed Close document before running (La)TeX to [CloseAllDocs("%bm.pdf")]. I get the error
I can't write on file `MyFile.pdf'.
Please type another file name for output ...

Re: Auto-installing new packages
Hey Kris
Ah, I wish I had figured that out before I reinstalled MiKTeX :oops: I just lost patience in the end. Now I know what to do the next time round, because it is bound to happen again if I do not always keep my external hard drive attached while working in LaTeX.
Thanks for the help, much ...
