Mine is silly question! But how to autocomplete. In TeXnicCenter while typing the commands a pop up comes. But I am unable to use this gppd facility. Please tell me.

Cannot write to `xxxxx.pdf' happens if you are already viewing/opened that file in acrobat reader. Before compiling close the file, then it will compile. Or if you encounter the error while compiling, just close the pdf file and proceed further by pressing enter. It should do.

Well, I used `potrace' to convert BMP files into eps files. It is ona Windows machines. It is a command line programme and one can improve the quality of eps by changinging/giving various options.

One small doubt. You might have copied the files from a CD to the hard disk. In this case you have to rename the file(s).
