I want to make a cd booklet so I went to ctan and searched for 'cd',
but all I found was packages for making _covers_, not the entire booklet.
(I use MiKTeX btw.)
If I can't find a suitable package, what should be my Plan B:
1. Use one of the cover-packages and try to extend it to double-pages.
2 ...

image problems with beamer
I recently added Beamer to my MikTeX setup and there are some issues:
1.
Everytime I compile there's this warning:
Package pgf Warning: This package is obsolete and no longer needed on input line 13.
Of course I tried updating my packages, but according to the
package updater, none are available ...

how to reset custom counter for every page
I'm helping some people converting a play script from a dozen .doc files to LaTeX.
Currently I'm editing the package sides . I want to number the lines in the
script like this <page>.<lineN> where page of course is the standard page counter
and lineN my own, already implemented counter of lines ...

dvips-rendering in Yap requires Internet connection (!)
Update:
To verify I opened XP's dos prompt and navigated to ~\miktex\bin\
and ran dvips.exe with the ethernet cable connected:
This is dvips(k) 5.96dev Copyright 2007 Radical Eye Software (www.radicaleye.com)
Missing DVI file argument (or -f).
Try --help for more information.

I always compile to .dvi and this is for two reasons:
1. Yap is much faster than Adobe (I've tried with Foxit but everytime I View output , a new window opens)
2. I love the cursor-marker-thing
3. Hmm...

the same document four times
That will probably do it.
The document that is to be inserted is also a .tex file.
Will I have to compile it separately (so that it exists
"physically" on the HDD) before running the script with
the \includepdf command?
That way the project will have to consist of two complete
documents. As for ...

I want to be able to print the same document on four A6 pages.
What is the best way to do this?
One idea that I have is to divide an A4 with a table and in each cell call
\input{documentFile}
Is there a better method? Perhaps something with minipage instead of table?

Header numbering depth
I want to increase the enumeration depth to four "decimals".
Currently there seems to be three: CHAPTER.SECTION.SUBSECTION but when I add a
\subsubsection it doesn't get numbered - only its name is displayed.
Ho do I do this?
My .cls file was given to me by the univ. dept, so I haven't written it ...
