I load the TeX software from http://tug.org/texlive/. Other packages I get from http://ctan.org, which is the main TeX archive network. If you would need other software, let us know. Almost all of TeX related software is freely available.

the code pieces you show us are not related to missing page numbers and quite honestly, they are some really silly pieces of code. Typical beginners mistake of copying code from somewhere whithout knowing what it does.

Sorry for the delay answer I sort of postponed. Before going with details of my problem. The lyx.file that I am working on, I can compile it without any problem on windows however using lyx on mac OSX seem to causing me huge problem which I did not confront before.

Using the very modern but stable package biblatex, you can get your result more easily.
