apacite | Change Order of References

Post by csbrooks »

I like the apacite for everything except the order of references for cases where a first author has multiple publications.

Can I change apacite ordering so that it does not consider the other authors just first author and year. below is an example,

current:
Hibiki, T., & Mishima, K. (2001). Flow regime...
Hibiki, T., Situ, R., Mi, Y., & Ishii, M. (2003a). Local...
Hibiki, T., Situ, R., Mi, Y., & Ishii, M. (2003b). Modeling...
Hibiki, T., Takamasa, T., & Ishii, M. (2001). Interfacial...

what I would like:
Hibiki, T., & Mishima, K. (2001a). Flow regime...
Hibiki, T., Takamasa, T., & Ishii, M. (2001b). Interfacial...
Hibiki, T., Situ, R., Mi, Y., & Ishii, M. (2003a). Local...
Hibiki, T., Situ, R., Mi, Y., & Ishii, M. (2003b). Modeling...

Thanks!
