footnote within math equation

Post by peaches2165 »

Hi all,

I have a couple of footnotes that are within a math equation.
Short of putting the footnote in by hand, is there anyway to make the footnote automatic with the \footnote{} command?

Thanks,

Peaches :D

Hi Peaches,

I wouldn't use footnotes inside equations, they could be considered as exponents. There could be another way with good style.

Try \footnotemark and \footnotetext.
