Issue with 'Elsevier' doc class

Post by riccardotrezzi »

Hello,
I'm having an issue with Lyx (2.1.0) run on a mac (OSX 10.9.4).

I have a document (Elsevier article). When I try to compile it everything works fine except for the fact that the first page (the one containing the title, the authors, the abstract, etc..) does not appear (the document start from page 2).

I also tried to start from scratch. What happens is that in that specific class of documents (Elsevier article) as soon as a put a title (or any of the other elements of the front page) the front page disappear. If I switch to another class of documents (say standard article) the problem disappears.

However, I need to use Elsevier.

Any idea why this is happening?

Thanks,
RT

In the pulldown menu where you set your title text to be the Title, there's entries for BeginFrontmatter and EndFrontmatter. You need to put the first before your title and the second after your keywords.
